The Benefit of Oversleeping
The benefit of oversleeping is the opportunity to greet the morning sun while we are on our walk. The fog lifted just in time for the park to seem a little bit magical.
Just stumbled upon your blog and decided I like it. You're a brilliant writer. Sad to hear about the beaurocratic mess of the Norwegian Child Services. It's all too typical of overdeveloped countries where it's impossible to simply get things done without all the red tape. Cheers! xx
Lovely picture, must have felt very magical! Everywhere I have lived before this would have been the benefit of getting up very early, haha. Guess I just have to wait a couple months. :)
TI: Cross your fingers it doesn't melt soon...at least bring the spikes! This winter has been so icy and blah the snow is a welcome relief.
Thanks, Lisa!
Come now, British girl, impatient doggie breath in the morning isn't reward enough? ;P
cheshirecat: Welcome! Very glad to have you along for the ride. :)
Tif: I don't remember seeing a sunrise until I joined the military, and then I saw far too many. But winters in Norway are a little special that way... ah, summer. I once sat up all night with a mare close to foaling and I can ASSURE you that it never gets truly dark out in late June.
Hola, Maria! We're thinking of going to visit Spain this summer. :) You guys may not have snow, but we are jealous of your lovely weather. I hope everything is well with your family, big hugs back!
White! and Denmark is still green and grey. Will finally get the chance to wear my snow boots in Norway ;)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photograph... Sadly I didn't have such a lovely reason for my oversleeping today...

Lovely photo...I especially love the doggie in the left hand corner...but the sky is AMAZING...I say oversleep more often!!!
ReplyDeleteHe's my helper, always ready to pose! I only wish I could oversleep more often....Ah, summer vacation! I yearn for it!
DeleteIt looks a bit like that here now, except that the snow is blowing sideways. Nice pic, btw.
ReplyDeleteEw. A few days ago it it was coming in sideways at school. I hate that, no respite for already cold noses! Thanks, btw. ;)
DeleteYour winter wonderland looks soooo peaceful and so lovely! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIt's quite lovely in the morning when there's only a few people in the park. One of my favorite places to walk!
