CaliforniCancerCation

So, I read the news on Facebook this morning that one of the girls I went to school with has luekemia. She is in need of a bone marrow donor, and has sent out the call for people to sign up as donors, as she needs a perfect 10 match and there is currently no one in the registry who can donate marrow for her. She has been blogging ever since she received her diagnosis, and you can find her here:

CaliforniCancerCation

Those of us who live outside of the US cannot donate to the US bone marrow donor registry. But we can sign up to donate in the countries we live in, if we meet the criteria (so you may look into registering there!).

Even if you can't help Kia, you may be able to help someone.

  1. I'm so sorry to hear about your friend, Corinne. I hope she finds a marrow match soon and gets the care she needs. My brother is suffering through yet another round of chemo and it's really sad to see the toll it's taking on him and his wife. Health is everything, everything. I try hard to remember that.
